Local Attractions

If you have been to New Quay before, then you will already know what a beautiful part of the West Wales coastline Cardigan Bay is. If you are first time visitors, we will be happy to advise you on the many places of interest in the area.

The village of New Quay with its picturesque harbour and safe sandy beach is easily accessible and is only about 15 minutes walk from the hotel. At low tide it is possible to walk to it across the beach. The bay of Cei Bach (The Little Quay) is very close and can also be reached by a very pleasant walk down the lane opposite the hotel.

For those of you who are interested in water activities, sailing and fishing are very popular. During the summer months, canoeing and wind surfing equipment is available to hire from the main beach. One of the major attractions of New Quay is the frequent appearance of the bottle-nosed dolphins who are often sighted both from the shore and also from the seasonal pleasure boats, which operate from the harbour. Grey seals and various breeds of sea birds can also be seen in the area.
